When will the new version go public?

I apologize if I've missed something along the way but has a date (or ballpark figure) been set for the public premier/"across the board" switch to V3?  I'd like to let my regular forum members and visitors know when to expect the changes.

Yup I would be interested in knowing this aswell. Also will it be a simple matter of applying the new style to my already exsisitng network54 forums?

I came here to ask that very question..and see you beat me to it. I'd like to let my members know.....and I'd sure hate to lost all the posts that I have now. When the format changes, will we be able to move our current posts into new categories?

And..thanks for the great changes! I've had quite a few forum members comment about my changing the format. I never did, because Network54 has worked for me for years, the customer service is great, I didn't want to leave. Now I don't have to!

I'd be very interested in this new style and format as well, particularly if we can recategorize existing messages.

which doesn't bode well for the prospect of customer support in V3.

Well, Nick wasn't asked to monitor these forums, and Chris and I get a little confused sometimes, since our test area and this public area look identical, but new messages appear only here, and we are usually looking in the test area. That said, I just chose the 'Watch Forum' option, so I'll get some emals when stuff happens here.

As for when it will get released, I'd say sometime next year. So specific! But really, our plan is to setup a new domain in the first part of the year and let people migrate over if they want to. We'll have something to move the messages, etc., over. That site will give you a subdomain like mycoolname.whatevernameN54comesupwith.com. The last thing we will do is move everyone still at the Network54.com domain over. We'll test the hell out of it over the year, and when everyone agrees that it will be smooth enough, well do that list migration.

We are going to have a handful of people that are familiar with CSS start creating some forums and help us refine the CSS codes. We are going to work with a couple of designers as well once we have that CSS locked down. So we are working on two things right now -- managing the creation of a community and editing it after the fact. This includes the UI for users and groups, etc. But we plan on having those things up and going enough for people to start up and make a working site. And help us make some other themes. So those people will get started later this month. Every other week thereafter, we plan to invite more people to test.
